Why freedom? Why is it not just a thought that we hold on to? It’s because we not only think about it, but desire it and need it so badly and we know for certain that there is a way to obtain it. The Word says in John 8:36 (NLT)  “So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.” So why is it that some of us are still bound to things that don’t allow us to function completely for the Kingdom of Heaven? That’s easy! Because we haven’t really, truly, 100% surrendered it all to God.

We need to realize that when we are not free we are slaves to something. “Christ has set us free to live a free life. So take your stand! Never again let anyone put a harness of slavery on you.” (Galatians 5:1 – Message). I don’t know about you but I don’t want to be a slave to something that constantly keeps me away from having full and total relationship with God. Don’t allow something in your life to take the place of the Father. He desires to have your attention completely. As long as we are slaves to something else, we will never have true freedom in Christ. We have to let Him purify everything within us and when we have real freedom in Christ, we have victory. So as Jason sings… “Real freedom is coming oh, God….send Your freedom!”

What to expect?

Fellowship- Each gathering starts off with a time to relax, chill and grab a cup of coffee and catch up with everyone. There are sweets and snacks to choose from, which is brought by different people for every gathering.

Community- Our desire is that you will find the joy of genuine family connection with other believers as you gather with us. We want to function as a family that encourages, prays, supports, and equips one another on our pursuit of becoming Jesus with skin on.

Ministry- Is simply the impartation of life. Our life source is Jesus and we need to minister to him and allow him to minister to us. Out of that connection, we then share with each other. There are elements of worship, prayer, communion, and a bible message. Each gathering is different. There is no format or religious order to follow. We need to be open to hear from God and obey what he says. When God is free to have the reigns of a gathering, anything is possible to happen… like miracles, signs, and wonders.

Generation Freedom is the Student Ministry of Freedom Fellowship. It is a place where we want our youth to be immersed in knowing who God is and how much He loves them. In turn as they go out to their community, they can show the love of Jesus to others.

Being a pre-teen and teenager already has its challenges. We want to create an environment that’s real. If there’s one thing that teenagers know is whether or not you’re being real with them. Our goal is to equip them with right tools so they can survive in this crazy world and create an environment that’s fun and safe.

We want to see an army of youth arising into their destiny, trained to change atmospheres and change the world. Standing by each other and for each other. Unafraid of the unknown and ready to serve. Full of love, joy and peace – healing, signs and wonders – giving it away as they step out into their schools and communities.
