Picture it, a cold February evening in 2008, a very good friend of Pastor Tim, Charles Mousseau, came down from New Brunswick, Canada for a visit to meet with some old friends. What no one knew was that he would bring forth prophetic words from the Lord that would change many people. After a series of powerful house meetings throughout the week, something was definitely stirring.
Tim and Cynthia never had the intention of starting a church so soon after they had ventured out to start “Atmosphere Changers,” a ministry geared to change atmospheres on college campuses and throughout the New England area. But at one of those house meetings, the Lord breathed life into their atmosphere and Freedom Fellowship was born.
Freedom Fellowship began because there were people that were hungry and thirsty to continue seeing the hand of God moving..with no restrictions. And it was a place where a casual “church” had passion to be “Jesus with Skin on” and show the Love of God to a city that desperately needs it.
As it continues to grow, Pastor Tim and Cynthia have the passion to see the people of God become one with the Father, becoming true worshippers and intercessors. They believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience freedom that comes from Jesus. Their desire is to see everyone come to know a loving God, without organized religion getting in the way. They want to see all kinds of people using the gifts that God has given them.
